Adorable Vanilla Ladybird Cupcakes

Table could not be displayed.

These cupcakes are just so adorable you and especially the kids are really going to love them and love making them too. I had alot of fun cutting out the shapes and you dont need any fancy cutters to do it, just a knife and your fingers to shape the cutouts are enough – although cutters would make more precise corners and circles. I baked these in under 30 minutes and then spent another 30 minutes with the designs.

  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons of butter
  • Cupcake Cups

ingrediants
Mix the Vanilla Cupcake mixture with the eggs and butter in a mixing bowl for 2 minutes until mixture is well combined. Preheat oven to 180 C.

Mixture Into Bowl
Pour the mixture into cupcake cups until about half to two-thirds full. Bake in oven for 20 to 25 minutes then set aside to cool.

Pour Mixture Into Cupcakes
Shape the ready made icing into the appropriate shapes using a knife and your fingers. Layer these shapes onto the cooled cupcake using a little sugared water to help make them stick together (I found that just the icing alone was sticky enough to keep everything in place)
